My First Trip to the Farm
My First Adventures
A farm is a very busy place, and beginning readers discover why with the story of one class's visit to a working farm. They learn fun facts about the food that we get from farms and the animals that call a farm their home. Using a fictionalized approach, readers discover all that this exciting place has to offer, including a trip to a pumpkin patch and a hayride. Accessible text and a picture glossary allow beginning readers to see for themselves what a trip to a farm is like, and bright illustrations guide them through this charming book.

Series Review: My First Adventures... The simple sentence structure is perfect for those beginning readers. The illustrations do a good job of helping the reader better understand the story ... I can easily see a teacher using this to introduce it to the children and then placing the book in a center for the students to read on their own.Leslie Woolsey, Cesar Chavez ElementaryLevel | Points | |
