Series Review: Dinosaur school
Who wants to learn basic physical concepts from a boring human? The Dinosaur School series employs dozens of wildly colored, wide-eyed, gleefully grinning, computer-illustrated dinos to illustrate the most elementary of first lessons. This is all about clarity: the bright characters cavort across plain white pages, while a brief sentence in large font makes a single declaration. Both pages in each spread play off each other to highlight the two opposing concepts. Occasionally ending with visual glossaries, this is fine sit-and-learn stuff for the tiniest tykes.
