Sort It Out!
Sorting and classifying are two key skills in the early elementary math classroom. Each volume of this valuable series focuses on a sorting category, such as shape, color, and texture, and demonstrates how to arrange objects using that classification. Beginning readers are encouraged to notice similarities and differences in groups of high-interest and familiar objects, such as animals, foods, and toys, while practicing the adjectives that are often employed in sorting and classifying.
