Series Review: How Does It Work?The 13 two-page chapters in each book are attractively designed. The first spread shows the featured vehicle on a bright yellow background. Numerous parts of the cutaway illustrations are labeled with one-sentence explanations of the indicated parts function. The rest of each title is nicely arranged with black font on a bright blue background. Photos and captions, diagrams, Fun Facts, Thats Amazing! boxes, and one experiment add a considerable amount of information to the text.School Library Journal
